Wheelchairs/access/disabled facilities
Due to the width of doorways, small toilets and because none of the vessels are completely step free there are significant challenges for wheelchair users and those with mobility issues.
The boats were all built between 1950 and 1980 and whilst the boat company has made changes to make the boats more accessible a full disability access survey carried out in 2022 concluded that it is not reasonable to go about the extensive works that would be needed to adapt the boats to make them fully accessible to wheelchair users.
